USA Holiday 2007
This holiday was fairly short, but we did cram in a lot of places and a very high mileage. We think if the Americans can do this sort of thing in Europe, then we can notch up the miles over there!
We chose Northern California and Oregon as they represented a lot of territory that we had not yet covered, but also included places we visited on our first trip in 1999. So we went again to Yosemite and Kings Canyon and saw a bit more of them. Also we saw more of San Francisco and Monterey. And the places we saw for the very first time, like Redwood NP, Crater Lake, Lassen Volcanic NP and Lake Tahoe - they were fantastic. What amazed us was the vastness of the forests. If ever there was a Bigfoot, we can now understand why he has never been captured. The area is immense and we only saw a fraction of it.
So sit back and flip through our pages. We hope you enjoy them - we sure did.
