Grand Canyon

From the Grand Canyon West Rim Drive you can see the Colorado River at the bottom of the Canyon.

Grand Canyon

Views of the Grand Canyon are just fabulous. No photo can ever do justice to the enormity and size and space of the Canyon. It just goes on for miles and miles, further than the eye can comprehend.

The Grand Canyon

Wherever you look, another fabulous view is seen. You really need several days to see and absorb the greatness of one of the Wonders of the World.

Orphan Mine, Grand Canyon

Up until the late 1960's some mining continued within the Grand Canyon at the Orpham Copper Mine. Uranium was mined here, as well as copper, silver and vanadium.

Grand Canyon

This was our third year we had visited the Grand Canyon. We have seen it from both the South and North Rims and also gone to the bottom and flown over it via two helicopter rides. We still think it is the most amazing place we have visited on this Earth.
