SAN JUAN, PUERTO RICO

Having spent our first night at the Caribe Hilton, before the cruise, we were very happy to return for another two nights at the end of the holiday. We had an excellent room, with superb views along the coast.

On the two evenings of our return we dined at the Moreton's Steak House Restaurant within the hotel. The food here was as good as it gets, although Penny was not keen on being shown a live lobster prior to the meal! The steaks were unbelievable.
From our hotel window we could look down on the old fort below us, at the edge of the hotel grounds.

A variety of lizards and salamanders frequented the grounds of the hotel, if you were quick enough to see them dart in and out of the foliage.

The gardens were also full of lovely flowers and we saw a varied selection of tropical flowers all through our trip..

Our trip back to the UK, via New York, was uneventful and now we cannot wait to have our next cruise, probably with Royal Carribean.
